Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you’ve added to your shelves, be it physical or virtual.
I know I just posted a Stacking the Shelves, but I didn’t realize how soon we’d be going to Barnes & Noble, as I got gift cards for Christmas! I’m very excited with my book haul.
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
Well, it was $8 and it looks pretty and I need to read it (c’mon, it’s a classic!) so… 🙂
Let It Snow by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson
I wanted to read this and My True Love Gave to Me by Stephanie Perkins sooooo bad, so I’m glad I could at least get Let it Snow! It looks wonderfully winter-y.
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
I don’t remember who’s to blame for this, but I’ve seen multiple five-star reviews of this book floating around the blogosphere and it’s about vampires (I have a mild obsession with vampires. Like, real vampires, not Twilight ones) and therefore I just had to get it. Plus it has a really cool cover.
The Intern by Gabrielle Tozer
Me getting this book is entirely Emily’s fault. She fangirls, and I saw it, and I honestly hadn’t seen it before, so it got added on to the pile too. Really though- you should’ve seen me walking around the store with Les Mis and three other books piled up in my hands 🙂 .
